The purpose of this project was to find a local gallery and redesign the exhibit, create new signage, posters, digital display, and an informational booklet. I was able to use a local museum that had a historical exhibit about three children who made a difference in the world: Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges, and Ryan White.

The exhibit at the museum was small, cramped, and filled with photos and informational text on boards, and had replicas of historical items. Since this exhibit was about children and how they made a difference in the world, I wanted my design direction to have bright colors and a friendly welcoming look. I used color bars and large dots for design elements to add an extra pop and emphasis. Because the exhibit was too small for the amount of information, I removed a lot of the text and replaced it with large photos to make it feel more open. The digital display offered the historical information for the audience to read and learn about the children.
